Steve’s field experience, along with 22 years of designing has enabled him to see every aspect of the project. He is extremely detailed oriented and expects nothing less than perfection. Working mainly with new construction, he is frequently at the job site, making sure everything is on schedule and running smoothly. He works with every homeowner to make sure they have their dream home…and dream experience.
Josh Young, Designer
Josh Young is from Mt Pleasant, Iowa and came into the world of kitchen design mostly by accident. While many designers have a background in Interior Design, Josh was busy studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Iowa and designing kitchens on the side. Eventually, the kitchens became more interesting than the circuitry and Josh became a designer. He has 17 years of experience in the kitchen and
bath industry. In last few years, Josh has been involved in many local projects found on both the Parade of Homes and the Remodelers Parade. In 2008, he placed 2nd nationally in Décor Cabinetry’s Elite Design competition in the Traditional Kitchen Category and 3rd in the Rustic Kitchen Category in 2010. In addition, Josh recently joined the Iowa City HBA Remodeler’s Council. Always up for a design challenge, he loves to take dated kitchens with bad layouts and turn them into something that is both functional and beautiful for your home. His inspirations come from a combination of the architectural elements othe clients’ home, the flow of the surrounding rooms and most importantly, the personality and desires of the client.
