My experience with Cantebury Kitchens started 3 years ago when I met Steve Welch. I had used Cantebury for the cabinetry on my own house, but was working with another cabinet company on some spec. homes I had started to build. We chose Cantebury Kitchens for our new home specifically for Lyptus cabinetry available through Showplace. I met and began to work with Steve Welch. I found him easy to work with and very supportive to get the exact kitchen and bathrooms I visualized. He was very patient and met with me several times to get every detail just right. To do that, he visited our building site, drew to scale, and jumped in to suggest making changes to room dimensions. He also redesigned our Jack-n-Jill bathroom to make the space more useable. When I could not make a decision, I consulted Shelley and other employees for their opinions and everyone would contribute. Steve was always aware of the time line and had everything ordered, in, and available right on schedule! During the 2008 Iowa City Parade of Homes everyone raved about the kitchen; the perfect heart of the home with superb function and great use of space.
